Postdoc position(s) available at the Laboratory of Immunogenomics and Immunoproteomics
1 January 2013 – 30 June 2015

Postdoctoral position available: The project aim is to dissect molecular pathways of lung inflammation in sarcoidosis, a systemic immune disease of yet unknown origin mostly affecting the lung. The emphasis will be on the role of inflammatory and regulatory mediators (chemokines, cytokines and their receptors), which drive the accumulation and activation of immune cells in the lung and regulate disease progression. Molecular biology and OMICS approaches will be used to delineate role of individual molecules/genes from the families of Th17 cytokines, CC chemokines etc. on RNA/miRNA, protein and gene level. The project includes a 4-month stay abroad at a collaborating research laboratory (Freiburg, London).
